I have tested a VirtualBox VM and was very happy with both fullscreen mode and seamless mode (windows of the guest exist right alongside windows of the host). The problem I ran into was I want to configure this on boxen with two monitors, using extended desktop. X seems to have a problem with this (I used xrandr to extend the desktop).
I didn't really expect fullscreen mode to work across both, but the windows of seamless mode won't drag onto the secondary screen, either. Is there some linux command with nVidia drivers (like nView) or ATI that will extend the desktop in a smart way that will allow me to work with a guest OS across both?
