In the past month or so, I am not exactly sure about the time line,
Google's search has been acting weird, so much so that I have
mentioned it to Roger on two different occasions. In the past week at
least 6 people have brought this Google weirdness up with me without
provocation.

It is hard to pin point, but, when searching for specific things the
results are wildly off target. The results I am getting seem to be ad
related, based off of a keyword I have used, and these are searches I
have done without issue in the past. Most of the time I am not
searching for things that others would pay for their site to show up
as a result. This is probably why I am getting things SO off target in
the results. Just imagine results related to "connected subsets of a
topological space" that are not mathematical links. It is a bit
ridiculous.

I have not heard anything in the news about this and I am curious if
anyone has or if anyone is noticing this issue.
