Hi all, I'm running up to a month-long event in May, where a few speakers are already going to come and talk to our students here on campus. Specifically, I plan on talking about free software in general, then Nathan Haines will be talking about Ubuntu specifically. I was planning on having a third talk, and I have someone tentatively lined up, but he won't know his availability for a while, and I'm thinking of starting advertising soon.
So, my question to all of you is, does anyone want to come give a talk about a specific use of Ubuntu? Some pet project you have, or know of, that shows off the capabilities of Linux and Ubuntu? Maybe something from the repositories, that you can download and demo right in front of their eyes. If you have an idea, let me know. I've been wracking my brain trying to think of people to do this talk, I've come up short. Your suggestions are very welcome. Thanks for all your help, guys! -- Mark Holmquist Student, Computer Science University of Redlands marktrac...@gmail.com _______________________________________________ LinuxUsers mailing list LinuxUsers@socallinux.org http://socallinux.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linuxusers
