Apparently, conditions are so bad at Foxconn that 11 workers committed
suicide last year! Apple, IBM, Cisco and Microsoft all send their work
to Foxconn. These companies may distance themselves from Foxconn, but
I'm pretty sure that the conditions in the new factories that are
contracted to do their work will be pretty much the same.

It's amazing that it took a year and a half and 11 suicides before
they decided to put up a safety net. That tells me that they didn't
really care, but since word was getting out they had to make
themselves look good. Since American workers have to compete with
these guys as the economy swirls down the commode, I wonder if
Americans will be willing to take slave labor jobs when it comes to
the point of desperation?
