Not sure the best tool for this (hopefully open source), but I'm looking for something light and simple that would sit on about 100 computers (mostly netbooks) and whenever a developer in our company updates his public folder (or FTP) with a new pyc file (python compiled), I would like to be notified and asked if I'd like to synch.
