Anyone have a preference? Pros/Cons? I am setting (another) HTPC and I am not up to date on the latest and greatest. I am familiar with mythtv and I would like to try something new/additional. Has anyone tried the MythTV plugin for XMBC or found a DVR solution for Boxee? Do you have other recommendations?
I am also interested in switching to a USB DVB-C (HD) and I am looking for good devices that work with Linux. I have looked at the hardware list on the MythTV site many times but there is nothing like recommendations for proven devices by other Linux users.
