I'm seriously considering switching to gnome and I've found both alarm
software and a gnome-based email client which uses Maildir (both my
requirements for switching).

I have a few questions left:

If I install gnome on my current system (running openSuSE but I don't think it
matters) I'll be able to log in on both and move data between the alarm and
email packages.

If I do that, will I be able to delete KDE when I'm done? Should I? Or can I
just leave it, and not use it? Would doing that cause any problems or
instability in gnome?

Thanks!

Jeff
