Yeah, it seemed like a good project in what it spawned, but trying to
be productive on it became annoying really fast.

Seems like the long term value in projects like this is something new,
and then if that doesn't work out, chop out all of the cool things
developed in that project and shift them into something new (and
profitable!).

G+ seems to have the most potential out of everything, IMO.
