I have no experience with systemd but I was in an irc channel where
the opinion of the only person who had experience with it was
negative.  I can't remember the channel.  However, after reading the
description of the system in the article you referenced above, I do
feel that the IRC'er probably was just complaining about "different"
as opposed to "crappy."  The design does seem advanced and
all-encompassing, so I unless it _didn't_work_, I can't imagine want
the guy was complaining about.
