Google Calendar uses the CalDAV protocol to synchronize calendar events between devices. I do not use Evolution because it sucks compared to Thunderbird, but I thought Evolution had CalDAV functionality. I use Google CalDAV to sync my Linux workstation and my OS X laptop. The cool thing is that my laptop syncs to my iPod touch, so then my calendar is with me everywhere I have that iPod (which I use more like a PDA). To set up the syncing you'll need to find the CalDAV URL from the Google Calendar help documentation. Mine is: https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/user And of course, it requires authentication. The username is your GMail address; you can figure out the password.
