Once ntfs-3g is installed you can add an fstab entry such as mine for
my Windows Vista drive allowing me to read/write to the drive.

/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SATA_WDC_WD5000AAKS-_WD-WCAS83943302-part2 /mnt/
windows ntfs-3g
user,users,gid=users,fmask=133,dmask=022,locale=en_US.UTF-8 0 0
