I am instantly curious about the "power scheme" that you can setup under Vista. It should be an option that appears on your Control Panel. My first thought is, if FC9 has a similar feature, is it enabled?
The quick way to check would be to log onto Vista, and check that you see four hours remaining. Then open your Power Option under the Control Panel. Temporarily choose the option that amounts to "no power control" (or something like that), and see if the amount of time left indeed drops down to 1 hr 20 min. If that works then you know that FC9 either has no power control, or the one it DOES have is not enabled or is not configured for maximum battery life.
