Well, I don't have a pci modem anywhere, but they're notoriously painful
with linux, I'm sorry to say.  Support has increased, but still appears to
be lacking. There are drivers, you can look here
http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/index.php for more info; your modem
appears to be listed on the page.

As for PGP "codes", it is an electrical signature (so you can verify the
sender). You can safely ignore the messages. If you want more info, see
