IMHO, ALL the tutorials focus on the command line. But, since you want
IN-DEPTH knowledge, this should be just fine. IN-DEPTH in Linux means
the command line.

The other thing I would say is pick a distro - and stick with it until
you are asking very specific questions, probably a year or two after
you have begun your trail of knowledge.
