-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Well I know why pccardctl was empty...I was thinking of a pcmcia card...OOPS. So you can't eject it or insert it because its not pluggable. I got things a little confused. What we need is 'lspci' output, though it is odd that there is NOTHING in that dmesg that says anything about a wireless card what so ever!!
It's an internal minipci card, but it surely should show up in dmesg. Pastebin lspci please Bryan Fletcher Bonds wrote: | http://pastebin.ca/1353092 | | pccardctl indent, ls, and info all return nothing. | | insert; eject then dmesg -> http://pastebin.ca/1353092 | | geeknix:/home/fletcher# iwconfig ath0 txpower on | Error for wireless request "Set Tx Power" (8B27) : | GET failed on device ath0 ; No such device. | | | Thanks, Bryan | | -Fletcher | | | | On Wed, Mar 4, 2009 at 10:49 AM, Bryan Smith <[email protected] | <mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: | | | Welcome to the Debian side of things Fletcher: | | What do all the kernel messages say about your device, ie | dmesg?
