Correct. I'm familiar with scp. Would you believe that yesterday we restarted the server and now it X11forwarding does not operate again.
My procedure is the following: 1. a) ssh -X lo...@somedomain -p xxx b) export display=rem...@somedomain:0.0 c) xhost + (on remote) 2. ssh_config has X11Forward yes 3. sshd_config has X11Forwarding yes 4.
