I am very new to Linux. Am having impossible time playing DVD's. None of the terminal commands seem to be working for me. I currently have VLC installed but it shuts down every time I try to play a DVD. My OS system is: Ubuntu 8.10 - the Intrepid Ibex - released in October 2008.
