Hey folks, I have maybe a simpleton question, but I haven't been able to find any decent sort of answer doing searches, and the answer might be really simple:
If I compile things (bash shell), usually the compilation output includes a copy of the command line executed, before any compiler output is shown. Although this makes for an interesting, scrolling window, I would prefer it if I would only see the compiler output (warnings, things echoed by scripts, etc.) but not the command line input (which can be screen-filling command-lines). In good'ol' DOS it's be simply done with an "echo off" before executing anything, but... how do I do the same in bash? Thanks in advance.
