If you end up having to move lots of files and update them, etc. try rsync. It can be made to run like scp (without naught but an SSH daemon on one of the hosts), but it has better handling for figuring out what files have changed, etc. It's faster and saves time and bandwidth with larger numbers of files. But if it's one file and only one?
