If you add RPMFusion to your repositories then you can play mp3s in
Fedora. Most drivers for mp3 players are provided by the kernel and
not Fedora and are not usually added separately. Rhythmbox or Amarok
can sync most mp3 players. If it is an iPod or similar that uses Media
Player or iTunes then you can enable the mp3 player by checking mtp or
ipod player in the settings.

It should work quite easily if your mp3 player is supported. Most are
