Everything is installed via the package manager from the repositories.
You can do this manually from a terminal using yum or from the GUI
using Packagekit or Yumex. It is a good idea to add RPMFusion (Google
it) and install EasyLife (Google it) if you want things not provided
by Fedora or Red Hat.
