Hi,

I have an issue getting bluetooth to work on this model since it can't
be enabled. The Fn+F3 combo works for enabling / disabling wireless
lan but not for bluetooth.

As I was reading through some threads at ubuntus forum concerning
other models (timeline series) where it was a bug in the ACPI DSDT
Table and fixed after some bios upgrades I contacted Acer Support on
this issue. They told me that they don't support linux but that the
linux community is great.

So I googled some more times but coudn't find something related to my
model. Is there nobody using the 8372TG? Or does your bluetooth work?

As I wiped Win7 from the disk at the first boot installing linux I
can't tell if bluetooth works in Win7. Some users reported that
bluetooth worked after enabling it in Win7 and then rebooting to
linux.

Some data: I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 64bit with kernel 2.6.35-22. The
Acer is equiped with a i3-370M, Intel integrated GPU + NV GeForce
310M, 4GB RAM and a Broadcom wireless lan & bluetooth combo.
Everything except bluetooth works (o.k. vgaswitcheroo freezes the
kernel when trying to switch the unused nvidia card off, but that
doesn't bother me right now).

Any help is appreciated, thanks
Tobi
