You do not HAVE to do this. In fact Ubuntu cautions users not to edit
grub2 files manually. I am assuming that Squeeze uses grub legacy and
Ubuntu uses grub2. I don't know why Squeeze did not pick up the other
kernels, but I would use the live Ubuntu CD and restore grub2
according to Canonical's instructions as it will give better results
that grub legacy which has failed him to this point.
