Below is a copy of my lilo.conf that was loaded. I have tried editing the lilo.conf to reflect the debian vmlinuz file, but still same lockup. Also at one time added an entry for the debian partition for the initrd.img that was created at install for debian, but still no luck. Fairly basic lilo file. I was just wanting to dabble with some other varieties of linux without loosing my slackware. I have tried fedora, opensuse, and debian so far and they all have their own issues at boot. I know there must be something I am missing or something those distributions are automating for me at install that I am not catching. I am in no hurry but any thoughts to this would be appreciated, just something to add to my knowledge of linux.
