Virtualbox is Open Source virtualization software that is available on Ubuntu and *should* be available on CentOS. I don't believe it's in the Ubuntu repositories, but if you google for "Virtualbox Ubuntu <version> PPA", you should easily find tutorials on how to install the PPA and use apt / aptitude to install it. I've never played with CentOS, so I'll let somebody more familiar with it point you toward installation instructions for it.
