I have no idea. The router is downstairs. I just know the device is working properly on ubuntu 9. I don't have to do anything, just plug it in, choose wireless network "linksys", and then start surfing.
I tried it on several other distros; kubuntu 9.04 was a success. Knoppix and sabaya didn't recognize it, nor did ubuntu 10 and 11. Ubuntu 11 sees linksys but doesn't connect to it.
