You're not wrong on all counts. One: Linux *will* get you money. Second: Oracle on Windows DBAs are not much in demand since its relatively easy.

So, I recommed doing Oracle on Linux DBA courses. Do you know any institute that teaches Oracle on Linux?

By the way, how can you administer something as critical as an Oracle database if you don't have expertise in the underlying operating system? It is a good idea to work as a Linux admin for about a year and then shift to Oracle.
