Well to be an ethical hacker u must have seen the darker side of it.

Just try any of ankits so called hacks, lemme know if u suceed in any one of them. No doubt Ankit has immense interest in computer security, but his book is more entertaining than informative.

Computer security has two worlds - one which is boring - Chartered accountants audit servers for any GAP's as per policy, they even run standard tools on networks to detect very obvious GAP's  - boring aint it.

The other world is for people who have seen and expereinced the darker side of the hacking, namely cracking and phreaking.

I beleive one has to be a hardcore programmer and a expert in systems, prior to even attempting what we call ethical hacking.
