Hi
I have a MTNL Triband connection and a simple
squid
proxy is configure on FC2. From last 2-3 days i am
facing problem while browsing. When i am trying to
browse the site suddenly i am getting following
error.
Then i tried with TATA connection but problem is
same ( error ). I also delete the cache and restart
the squid but again the same error.
The DNS entry for the requied ISP is given. DNS
is also resolving properly. I check it by nslookup.
ping response is also good no packet drop.
Now I want to disable the local server chache
lookup.How do i do this ???.
Any other suggession, help or comment on
this.What could be the problem

     Here is the error output
========================================================
While trying to retrieve the URL:
http://messenger.rediff.com/newbol/

The following error was encountered:

Unable to determine IP address from host name for
messenger.rediff.com

The dnsserver returned:

Refused: The name server refuses to perform the
specified operation.

This means that:

The cache was not able to resolve the hostname
presented in the URL.
Check if the address is correct.

Your cache administrator is root.

Thanks & Regards
Jayesh
