Hi, If you are talking about the external command argument then be rest assured since this option only allows the admin to modify tasks from the web interface like changing the next scheduled time, mail options, etc.
Also if you need to disable this option then there is no need to recompile the binary. You can just change one argument from 0 to 1 or vice versa in its config file to disable the external commands options. Thanx & Regards...
