Hi all. My college has a small internet network routed thru a Cisco router. I have been given the task of configuring a linux box to act as a gaeway for the other PCs on LAN.
Tell me. Do i need to do some special setup or configure for the Cisco Router? or should i only connect the cat5 cable coming out of the router to eth0 and the local area cable to eth1 and just setup a squid proxy? If I need to do come kind of configuration for the router on Linux machine assuming Cent OS 4.3 (seems like a clone of RHEL AS4 update 3) OS; please tell me how to go about.. or just paste me links where i can get more details. thanks ~ anup
