Hi,
I forgot to mention one step over here. After you configure samba you will
have to join your linux to domain i.e. thru authconfig or by giving the net ads
command. Once this is done try the third step.

2) Once Samba is configured just create the users i.e. the NT ID's on the
linux server but dont set the password
3) Try to login with the with NT ID & the NT password.
This should solve your problem
