Since the root password is deleted, you won't be able to login as root. Login to single user / rescue mode and change root's home to some other partition, or make some other user root by setting its UID fo zero in /etc/passwd. BTW, how did you do something as wierd as delete your root partition? Is this a production environment? Regards, NMK.
