i tried fedora 7 also.. the problem is in the bios code... to install linux bios must pass hw inventory to linux os.. i.e. drivers but there is no linux support in bios that means no hw inventory support for linux thats why i need to update the bios so that it can support linux but i coudent get it.. so came to this group of linux professionals... as somebody here must have solved this problem before
