Hello everybody
i m using RHEL5
i have issued the command
to delete the whole mbr
#dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/hda bs=1 count=512
i had back up the mbr before issuing this command
and i have saved it in the / and also in /boot partition
but no on floppy and also i have not made bootable floppy
the problem is that my OS is not booting(obviously)
when i go into linux rescue mode it says
urs partition table is invalid and does shows any partitions
i have very imp data
pls help me to get out of this mess
