What is an inode ?
inode is nothing like identity number. You na All files, folders, block 
folders, spl. files everything have inode. even link files also 
contained inode. Linux infrastucture typically related with inode. when ever 
you are installtion OS it is allocating 1 % for inode. by inode you can find 
easly file and folders. 
What are the setuid relation to file permission?
Kindly go and remove all permission to the /etc/shadow and try to login any 
user, it will not allow to login. 
Dont hesitate to ask if you need further info..
