Hi,
   Dual core processor technology is same as the HT technology, in this both 
the cache memory is shared at a time with only single processor.. Whereas in 
Core Duo technology the cache memory is shared at a time with both processor 
making it very speed n it gives high performance. In Dual core the 2 cpu's are 
integrated one upon one as virtual but in Core Duo they are placed beside each 
other.
                     There are many other diff between them compare to FSB, 
Cache, GHz....etc
