Hi Prashant,
       
Finally, to use your new kernel, add it to your bootloader and reboot. A GRUB 
entry looks like this:title     Kernel  2.4.22, new kernel

root      (hd0,0)

kernel    /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.22-new-kernel root=/dev/hda1 ro
