Dear सुखदेव, I think Linux HA with Heartbeat is used for Load balancing with fail over mode.
I want to replicate my servers. I am running following command on server1. It is working fine to update data from server1 to server2 and viceversa when i am running it on server2. rsync with options " -e --rpg -v --update" etc. Now scenario is if some user on web login to my server2 and deletes its some own file. Then it should also get deleted from server1 and viceversa. Deleted files should not get updated again from other server Regards Nilesh To: [email protected] From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Thu, 11 Sep 2008 10:08:07 +0530 Subject: Re: [LinuxVadaPav] Synchronize Files Between Server ----- Need help On Thu, 2008-09-11 at 09:39 +0530, Nileshkumar Pitroda wrote: > Dear all, > > I had solution that updates/copies files from one web server to > another. > > This should handle deleted files as well. > > Means files deleted from one server should get removed from other > server also. > > I am using rsync for this. > > but delete option not seems much useful any other way is there. > > Regards > > Nilesh You can use Linux HA with Heartbeat http://www.linux-ha.org/Heartbeat -- सुखदेव सोपान जाधव Sukhdev Sopan Jadhav "मौसम के साथ साथ बदल जाना चाहिये| खुशीयाँ न हो तो फीर गम से बहल जाना चाहीये| जीस रौशनी से आँखे खूल न सके | उस रौशनी से दूर निकल जाना चाहिये |" - अब्बास दाना बडौदी | [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] _________________________________________________________________ Search for videos of Bollywood, Hollywood, Mollywood and every other wood, only on Live.com http://www.live.com/?scope=video&form=MICOAL [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
