Hi All,

Have an issue with harddrive on the server.
We have raid 1 array set (hardware raid). The mirror hard drive is
show has having problems. I find the following in messages log file...
Number of sectors have now increased to 11.. I first noticed it at 3

I couldn't find a convincing method by searching in net.. so here i
am.. any1 seen the following error and know a method to get it sorted ?
------------
Sep 9 17:42:52 ANTI-SPAM1 smartd[3164] : Device: /dev/sdb, 6 Currently
unreadable (pending) sectors

Sep 10 04:12:03 ANTI-SPAM1 kernel: SCSI device sdb: drive cache: write
back
Sep 10 04:12:52 ANTI-SPAM1 smartd[3164] : Device: /dev/sdb, 11
Currently unreadable (pending) sectors

------------ --

And... I am not sure if it has got anything to do with the above
issue... the time on the server gets reset by itself!! I dont
understand how that happens.. I had set it as per ntp time and a cron
takes care of update every 6 hours. But how does it change
automatically when live... I checked cron entries in cron.hourly
also... no mention of time related schedules in there. :(

Please throw some light
