Hi,
I have configured simple ldap means without tls and used the migration script
to migrate from pam to ldap. But now I like to configure ldap with customized
schema.
so please tell me how to configure schema and how to customize it. also tell me
how can I add user in ldap. I think there is ldif type file I have to create.
How ldif file I have to create.
If you have link which is self explainable, then forward it to me.
Thanks & Regards,
Nilesh Indore.
Hi Nilesh,
Can you please confirm what exactly you are going to do with customised
schema. If you are designing customised schema then you need to know concept of
OID's i.e Object Identifiers.
To add user in ldap just create plain text file with ldif extension (i.e LDAP
Data Interchange Format) with required contents like
objectClass, description, common name etc. and import same file to ldap using
ldapadd command.
If you need further information just reply.
Thanks,
Pushpraj N.
