Hi, Its been long time using nagios but as far as i remember u can monitor these services running using their port nos. If u want to monitor jboss as well as tomcat using nagios, u hav 2 put an entry for it in etc services, specifying the host_ip with the port no. U can also set its threshold in the same file.
