Our Company has bought 70 new machines HP DC7800 Multitower machines.
I have tried istalling linux in that.. but after loading the vmlinuz
and initrd image.. it gets hang.... 

the board is Q-35 and there is no driver support for that board on
intel or hp websites... i have tried redhat enterprises linux 5,
oracle linux and ubuntu 8.04.... nothing worked.. right now m
downloading ubuntu 8.10

can anyone tell me to solve hardware related issues.. how can i work
on this....

have you changed the Bios setting for Sata Drive.
Whether your HDD is getting detected.
change the setting of HDD in bios . RHEL5 should get installed in any condition.
