Hello all
I am using logrotate utility for daily rotation of applications log
The logs size grows approximately 1 GB in size
which i am thinking of compressing using compress(gzip) command
but the condition is that its extension should not get changed to gz
i have found this
compress
compressext exten
what should i write in compressext so that the logs extension doesnt gets
changed
