Hi, I have files called licence.dat and licence_new.dat. in the first file contains of 200 lines and 2nd files contains of 300 lines. We need to append new file new lines to the old file last line onwards. I tried to compare both files by using diff command and copy paste idea. But it is not successfully happening. if possible can any one suggest me is there any command to do this easier way? Regards, Ilampooranan.S
