Subject: [LinuxVadaPav] How to compile RHEL4 Kernel for NTFS Support

Hello,

I have installed Oracle Enterprise Linux on my computer that primarily runs on
Win XP SP2. The Linux kernel version is 2.6.9-42.0.0. 0.1.EL .

I would like to access my data on the partition with WinXP. Red Hat Linux
unfortunately do not support NTFS so the kernel needs to be compiled/patched
with an ntfs kernel driver .

I have searched a lot however I failed to find an RPM/solution written
specifically for my version of the kernel also it is different form RH-9.

Any ideas as to how I can solve this?

Thanks
Animesh.

Hello,
REDHAT does not provide kernel source code for it Enterprise
Editions so you can't compile the kernel, you can better try by any other
method such as RPM or Tarball..

Mubeen Nakade.
