Please read all my posts to the group to gauge my etiquette. yes i hve > never contributed,.....i feel its better not to contribute than to divert > the whole issue to silly agruments......and trying to force ppl to use wht > others are not confortable of.... Point is not if people are comfortable. The point is to ensure that this list follows the standards set by other GNU/Linux lists. This list is indexed by google. I don't want the imternational Internet community to look down upon us. nd FYI i m a part of a unoversity which is > well recognised in India and has its branches all over the world...... nd for > heaven sake....this group is not an english teaching course,....here every1 > know....hw to write and wht to write..... I disagree. If you have to do something, please do it in the best possible way. If you want to post messages to a list, please do it in the best possible way. > > Comments are only welcomed on Linux..and only on linux...and not on how it > shud be commented ...who comments ....and wht shud be the style of > commenting..... Like I said, the style is extremely important. You cannot post nonsense here in the name of getting Linux help. Basic email etiquette will need to be followed. > > nd for the university part....get in touch wid the real world....nd u wud > know....its in India ....in MU...DU....JNU......things have changed....WAKE > UPPPPPP.................... Thats precisely what I am telling you. Wake up and smell the ..err.. lists. Point me to atleast one city-level GNU/Linux list that allows top-posting. Why do you want to impose your own set of guidelines here? The guidelines are not a personal choice - they are more or less what other GNU/Linux lists follow. It is you who needs to get out from your mouse-hole and subscribe to other GNU/Linux lists to understand what standards they follow. > > Would be really obliged....if this discussion is ended,....nd comments are > made on Linux......without diverting the core issue...... You cannot provoke me and expect me to remain a silent spectator. I'm saying this for your own good, please don't give the international community a chance to make a fool of you. Follow the standards that are being followed by major GNU/Linux lists internationally. Please subscribe to the Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, etc LUGs. Regards, NMK.
