Hello All,
I am getting below error from long time with pidgin messenger.
"Could not establish a connection with the server:
Access denied: HTTP proxy server forbids port 5222 tunneling."
Any idea What exactly needs to do??? I have squid proxy server. But other
messengers like yahoo,msn works fine from windows os.
But only Pidgin gives above error from linux os.

Dear Pushpraj, If you have squid proxy then did you try to open port
in squid, Try like this "acl Safe_ports port 5222"
