Restore old kernel.

Dear all,
 
I am facing problem with LVM. we have LVM of 5TB it is of 2+2+1 TB strip set. 
After updating the kernel my Volume group is missing & showing error liek 
"Volume Group does not exist".
 
I tried command like uuid_fixer, vgcfgrestore, vgchange -ay. After that its 
showing volume group is active but it is not available in /dev
 
I can see the Physical volume, volume group by lvdisplay & vgdisplay.
 
Pls help me.......... ....
