dear all
i used to map my windows share to my linux box via samba
for backup purpose
strangely for las few days whaen i mount he winsows partition to my linux box
iam getting a message
smb_proc_readdir_ long: error=-2, breaking
if i do directory listing somtimes files are displayed
but after a few second if do onother listing the mount point seems
to be empty i had googled for this error
many posting are avilable wth the same issue but nonone has a solution for
the same
any solution ?

Hi,
Try mounting from any other Windows machine, if it mount succesfully from
other windows machine then it will be concluded that bug is in linux. Then you
can try upgrading Samba version.
